Nominations being accepted for the 2017 Attorney General’s Victim Services Awards of Distinction

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 Attorney General’s Victim Services Awards of Distinction.

This awards program recognizes the dedication and hard work of professionals and volunteers who serve victims, and the courageous efforts of individuals who have been personally impacted by crime and are now working to raise the profile of victims’ issues in Ontario.

Nominees must be Ontario residents, and may be:

  • professional practitioners and paid victim services providers who have gone above and beyond their regular duties while providing support to victims of crime
  • volunteers who offer their time and personal resources to help victims
  • individual victims of crime, family members, or others personally impacted by crime who have raised the profile of victims’ issues in Ontario

Programs, groups and organizations that deliver innovative services to victims of crime are also eligible.

Nominations close on December 16, 2016.
